Tis the Season! Over the past couple of months, the members of Buhach Colony FFA have dedicated themselves to making the holidays better for those who are less fortunate than themselves. Beginning in October, a canned food drive was initiated, entitled Trick or Treat for Canned Goods. The idea was presented that we involve the community as well. In less than a week, as had nearly 400 cans donated to the cause! All of that food was donated to the Merced County Food Bank to help the members of our very own community! In addition to the canned food drive, BCFFA also participated in Operation Christmas Child, an event dedicated to giving children in third world countries a better Christmas. Our students in FFA alone were able to round up supplies to help almost 100 kids! Overall, this season was amazing; the members of this FFA chapter were given the opportunity do make a positive difference in the lives of others, and they seized it!
