Mariposa FFA Field Day

December 4, 2021

On December 4th, four members of the Buhach Colony FFA chapter attended the Mariposa Field Day. Rayce May participated in Job Interview, Daniella in the Creed Speaking Contest, along with Ava Smith and Rowan Sanchez competing in the Impromptu Contest. All had a lot of fun meeting other members from different FFA Chapters and getting the chance to participate in the first Field Day of the season.

Thank you Mariposa FFA for hosting such an excellent event.

Holiday Wreaths & Tasty Treats

December 2, 2021

On the 2nd of December, all were about, every creature a scurry, yes maybe even a mouse.

Buhach Colony FFA had an amazing turnout for their wreath-making event with 20 participants in all. Over the course of the night community members were led through how to create and decorate their own holiday wreaths by the wonderful team of Buhach Colony Floral Design Elves.

One FFA member went on to say, "when everyone finished I saw all the special and beautiful wreaths that had been made and I was very proud of myself and everyone else for doing such a great job helping and making wreaths! I will definitely be participating again, it was a great time and experience."

November 29, 2021

On the 29th of November, 15 Buhach Colony FFA members participated in the 1st Annual Merced College Aggie Holiday Lane event.

The night was filled with a ton of fun activities including a Christmas tree decorating contest, holiday card crafting, and some good ole Christmas carols. Overall, the event was a lot of fun and we hope the donated Christmas cards bring smiles to those in need this holiday season.

Thank you, Merced College Agriculture Ambassadors for hosting such a fun event!

Merced Mariposa Sectional FFA Game Night

November 9, 2021

On  November 9th Buhach Colony hosted the Merced-Mariposa FFA Sectional Game Night. Our sectional officers organized and conducted an abbreviated business meeting to begin.  We played games such as Jenga, Chess, Clue, Yard Golf and many others! We got the chance to interact with other members throughout our section and made new friendships. The highlight of our night was a relay race including teams from each chapter. Each member had a task such as moving a hay bale! We ate hotdogs, chips and cookies for dinner. Overall, the night was really fun and we all had a great time. Thank you to the Merced Mariposa Sectional Officers for putting on a great event!
